Background

The next generation of nuclear plants will be built under combined operating licenses that reference designs that are pre-certified by the USNRC. ITAAC provides the Utility and the Regulator with objective evidence that the plant and its equipment were procured and constructed in accordance with the certified-design. A large number of independent organizations including the reactor supplier, the plant constructor, engineering firms, testing organizations, component manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and the utility will prepare and certify ITAAC documents. Organization, management, and control of the ITAAC program and thousands of ITAAC documents will be critical factors in the success of construction and plant startup.


ITAAC.Net Portal

We help utilities properly fit web-server-hosted ITAAC project management tools into the organization in a manner that maximizes management and control, while minimizing the need for permanent Utility staff. Outside organizations will have read-only access or need-to-know access that is restricted to their portions of the ITAAC. Triggers and flags will be imposed to measure the closure of items against the schedule and to alert management when changes occur that impact ITAAC item closures.


ITAAC Program Support

We work with you to increase ITAAC program productivity, inspection activity, team momentum, shorten time lines, report to management, and increase ITAAC closure percentages. We also supply portal access to the Regulator so both the Utility and the Regulator inspectors and managers can obtain real-time status-reports and can anticipate future activities in a manner to support construction schedules and related inspection and testing schedules.
